I’ve always liked the idea of a static site, but I just feel like hosting media of any kind would be a huge pain in the butt with Markdown.
Also if WP Super Cache is working, users should be redirected to static HTML files at the Apache level anyway.

There’s something so telling in the way Trump writes, that shows that he’s just “playing president.” When he signs off a tweet saying like, “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”, it’s like an “official-sounding” way of concluding a presidential “decree.” It’s like my older sister being the teacher and playing “school” with us when we were kids.
